>>8476928>Nice. Not really Mecha fan but the way the mini-figs pilot them remind me of Knightmares from Code Geass. Do they serve as escape pods too?Oh yeah the way the Knightmare frames were piloted was 100% the inspiration of that. These were basically GMs from Gundam with knightmare cockpits.
In universe they were supposed to be more along the lines of easily removable cockpits since they were expected to be targeted in the back often, allowing for the easy removal of dead pilots/sharing units by simply adding a new cockpit to the mech. I started making other variants that attached things to the cockpit, so that kind of went away.
