Because if you look at anything comparable like acid rain, they're all either more expensive, lacking accessories, or both. I've got a ton of figures and hex kits and the hex kits are just all around better for the price.
Not to mention most other "Completed" figures are just slapped with a few washes and some sloppy metallic paints.
