>>6568226Cheers for the in-hand pics, anon. Paint scheme looks nice, but I definitely feel you on your issues with the valk. While I've generally had good luck QC-wise with my Bandai stuff, I've had a couple issues recently.
Tangentially related, I recently picked up Figuarts Chun-li, and while I love the figure, the quality of the paint apps are subpar. Like the wings on your Messer VF-1, the gold trim along Chun's skirt is pretty sloppy among other small issues with the paint. Not to mention the ding on my Metal Build 00's right thigh, heh. In both cases though, the strength of the base figure is enough for me to overlook those issues. Always sucks when you're not thrilled with something AND it had QC issues.
I'm definitely looking forward to how the Hi-Metal line advances with the VF-2SS's release.
