It's different when you actually see them in person. The texture is only noticeable like that when you're a few inches away and overall looks like most any superhero movie costume with a football texture.
At one time i hated the Toby McGuire basketball look, but i don't even really notice with the glut of superhero movie costumes now. Maybe its the tacticool textures on the modern MCU movies that makes me think a lot of MEzco's designs are alright to great.
The Garfield design still looks like shit though.
