Quick question, I used my Vallejo Matt Varnish (pic related), gave my custom 3 thin layers, and it turned out very shiny. I read that this particular varnish needs to be shaken very hard for it to actually come out matte (anyone have experience with this product?), so I was thinking of cleaning (rinsing with some soap) up the custom (just to get rid of any dust and what not) then adding another layer after letting it dry. My question is would this even work? Let's say after being shaken it does come out matte, would a new layer essentially overwrite the previous shiny layers?
