What is unfortunate is the string is attached to his butt. Not the gun.
Because of that, the string is attached to the tip of the missile instead of the base. Not only eating up an inch and a half of it's potential range but also cause it whip back harder than it otherwise may have.
If you don't want to use the hooked missile you just sort of leave it trailing on the ground behind him and pop one of his spider legs off to use instead.
I really like the range on all his joints. The ball joint hips and shoulders are super mobile. The knees bend 180 and the elbows bend 90. The wrong way.
What I really like is the ball jointed neck. So much expression. Not many transformers, even now, have a neck like this.
I kinda hate how shit my camera can be at raangefinding sometimes.
