You realize that Mattel made those Justice League figures because they were featured in the most recent cartoons? And that WB was still pushing the animated series even after it was canceled?
It's not a coincidence those Dr Destiny, Firefly, and Toy Man toys came out a few months after the season 2 Justice League Blu-Ray set was released, which contains the episodes they came out in.
This only proves how hard WB enforces which characters are to be released and that most of it needs to be about current media.
