>>10768503I think the Chinese are still getting into things. You have Maestro Studio doing furry figures. Now whether you're a furfag or not, that's something nobody's really covered before that seriously. Licensed anime stuff is going to stick to Bandai or GSC for the most part because they're huge and they can mass produce more reliably I think. Then you'll have a few companies making more expensive 1/6 stuff for a niche of people. You already have Tunshi making Metal Slug characters and KOF I think, Snail Shell is getting their first video game licenses, then there are new companies making interesting figures like the witches above and some other company making cool hyper-articulated bugs. I think Vtoys/Romankey are Chinese as well and they're making OC as well with pic related. I really appreciate companies making OC and China is starting to break into the scene with a lot of that. Don't care for bootlegs or transformers but personally I think the seamless dolls with awkwardly tacked on popular characters' costumes are going to die off or become a niche of Chinese production soon.
