I got Unique Toys’ Warlord, their not-Predaking, today after that anon a thread or two ago was talking about it; at $120- about the cost of a CW combiner- I figured it was worth a shot. The floppiness that a lot of people were warning about was pretty overblown. He’s about as stable as an CW combiner, it’s really just his knee swivel is incredibly loose, but that only really affects anything if you’re planning on playing with him and bashing him into your other toys. Overall, he’s pretty much exactly what I wanted and expected from HasTak, and he doesn’t have that shitty aesthetic most 3P toys have, he’s pretty much just a straight G1 update- complete with shitty animal modes and tons of combiner kibble.
I still might get the Titan class Predaking depending on reviews and price since he’s my favorite combiner and I actually feel he should be pretty fuck-huge (pic related), though I wish they would have scaled it back a bit a put some more budget into paint and engineering.
