>>7254146>The question is simple – how do you guys see the addition of a pink classic space astronaut?The way I view it is, if you want some classic astronauts, you can already buy them on bricklink, because they already exist. Adding a new color of astronaut is a net win for everyone, because it's a color that didn't exist before. Even though the presence of a pinkstronaut theoretically "stops" another color from being included in this new set, it doesn't negate the existence of the thousands of CS minifig torsos, helmets and airtanks that already exist.
While it would be nice if the pack was a straight 5:5 reproduction of the original five CS figs, we're probably going to see them at some point in the future. Remember that the black CS minifig was re-released (with a modern-style motorcycle helmet, granted) a few years ago, so mint-condition versions are becoming available for a not-unreasonable price.
Who knows, maybe some of the CMFs will be Classic Space dudes in original colors. Point is, IMO more variation is better than more of the same.
