Is it possible to put together a kit without permanently wearing it down? I understand that ideally you're supposed to remove parts from the runners, sand them down, apply primer, then paint, and then a top coat and then you're finally able to use it, but is it really okay to just assemble it and then disassemble it later when you're ready to paint? I still haven't finished gathering supplies but have the kits already and just want to put them together and pose them a little bit.
