Like can you imagine if the Attack on Titan figma (which have lots of accessories) were released nowadays? They would retail double the price (like 8,800 yen each) and nobody would bat an eye because of how used we are to a simple figma costing 7,500+ yen now.
Hell they're asking over 10,000 yen for Erwin which is a simple re-sculpt of the past figma and only comes with an interchangeable arm. But since they forced him to come with a horse, the $100 price tag seems "justifiable" and it's an easy way for them to rake in cash.
Hell the new Guts Berserker armor, is just a 8,500 yen re-release of a 4,000 yen figma with a different color and bad blood wash.
