And Karen Gillan didn't shave her head because she was a ginger, she did it because her character GotG was bald. Comic book adaptions race-bending redhead characters is one thing, but I don't think Hollywood in general has anything against redheads. It already isn't a common color, and a lot of the iconic non-natural redheads like the ones I listed are still remembered as such even after they go back to their real color.
