>>6974019Take this with a grain of salt, but at least for bandai, I heard that the whole idea of effects pieces in the first place were just another thing they could make as something super low-effort to sweeten the pot for the high end stuff I was talking about like SRC and metal builds. They had no idea it was something people actually wanted enough to buy on their own, which is why they only started selling them separately semi-recently.
But yeah, I'm surprised third parties haven't started doing them. MFT tosses in the diaclone suits which is close, but good effect parts could VERY easily push me over the edge on some things. Especially cheap stuff like legends.
