That's mostly because Americans are taller than asians. No one wants manlets on their side.

And most Star Wars BS figures are taller than a lot of those 1/12 dolls, mostly cause they're modeled after the actors. Stormtroopers come up taller than 6", while most of those one/12 wannabes don't come to 6" even with helmets.

They've always been interchangeable, ever since Hasbro started their GI Joe 25th line (first actual 1:18 line?), but who the hell wants manlet soldiers?

It's one thing to want to have a Dustin Hoffman hero character or scientistman Danny DeVito, but for faceless soldiers who are supposed to be (presumably) elites? It'd be like something out of a comedy.
It's why no one is afraid of China or India, except for India and China.

WAT?

Why would an entire species suddenly become a foot shorter?
Did they run out of male soldiers and are now using females?
Or is there a Asian-equivalent race on Brute-world?

Either way, I'm disappointed that the brutes are so tiny now. Brutes were my favorite toys and i bought a shitload of them from the McFarlane line, despite not knowing anything about them.
My only familiarity with the Halo series is from the multiplayer and the books, and i don't think they appeared in the first 4 or 5 books i've read.

Eh, Acid Rain figures are well within the proper sizes for 1:18 and that Destro is actually pretty tall.

Metal Gear stuff is pretty much 4.5" scale, with a tiny head and giant body. If they were given a realistic style, you could pretend they were just beefy tall men... but nope.

Also, forgot to mention you're pretty nuts to give Kaiyodo money for those russian McStatues

First height is gained from better nourished peasants, then their girth grows as they continue eating passed what the body requires.

Also, no food would make any body change the genes that shape how fat is stored, no matter how radioactive it is.
