I haven't seen any QC issues on any of my Figmas, but my last one was the Batou. I know about the issue with the samurai figure with the printed face, but i chalk that up to that technique being new to them.
So what is premium? For me, it's basically releasing something that is better than what children toys are. Hence companies who do release better shit do cost more.
There is no company that can actually stand ontop of any other collector company out there. SOME may be shittier than others, but across the board, no one stands out.
