>>9543373>Since most of you seem to be pro-Origins, but anti-Masterverse, I have a question for those who aren't planning to buy the latter toyline at all:>What (if anything) would it take to win you over and get you to start Masterverse?Honestly, the nostalgia grab + 12 bucks buy in cost toy is a lot more palatable than the 25 bucks "the character you like but different" toys.
Not to say I'm against Masterverse, it's just that I'm going to be a lot pickier and likely will only pick up my all time favourite dudes like "oh shit clawful in 6 inch", instead of thinking "meh, I already have a bunch of them and he helps build up skeletor's goons even though he's not one of my favourites".
>>9543382>Maybe alternate face expressions tooI think a big one would be more alternate heads. Evil Lyn is a good example. She caters to both OG fans and new fans since you get the "classic" helmeted head AND the "show accurate" loose hair head (that is also just a generic lady wizard head if you're wandering the toy aisle without caring about the line). I personally would have preferred the short pixie cut hairstyle she had instead of the long flowy hair, but that's me.
Consider Teela now, she should have come with two heads. She came with the modern side cut hair and no neutral or classic head/hair/helmet, plus a different outfit already, which meant a lot more people were put off by the changes. The second Teela definitely learned this lesson as she comes with her more classic helmeted head as well as a modern / loose hair head.
