>>7105337This is why the screws from the back of Shockblast's waist are better. The leg ones are too long and get in the way of the spring his knee joints (also I lubed those ratchets with graphite so my new connections get less stress on them).
On one knee I fought and trimmed this down inside the joint. Which technically worked but was a huge pain. On the other I swapped it out for the waist screw. This is where you can learn from my mistakes. If you can help it, it's pretty important to only ever screw the screw in once. When I replaced it with the new screw, screwing it in and tightening it down a second time stripped the hole and I lost all my tightness. I had to fill the hole with super glue and redo it (which worked really well so if you fuck up, there's your fix). You could probably fill it with super glue anyway because ideally you want the screw to turn with the yellow upper leg so it cannot unscrew itself.
