I already stopped buying the line when it cost $25, but that's mostly thanks to their shitastic Cobra Island exclusives and missing out on Major Bludd. Target ordered the bare minimum they can with the GI Joe line.
The least they could have done was re-released the figure, but nooope, because Hasbro can barely sustain the line as it is.
I hope Hasbro continues to fuck up, so they can let Hiya release their GI Joe line in the US.
For 1:12, Mezco is definitely the best choice, but at $90+, its understandably out of reach to many fans.
