>>7878637It's a lot less busted that the one turn wins you can set up now. I played MTG back when it came out and did casual and local tournaments for a little while for fun. I was on a trip for work and there happened to be a local tourney, that sort of thing, and I never found Black Lotus to be that bad. I've seen what it *can* do but rarely have seen it do that and back then everyone had a reasonably inexpensive chance to obtain one through booster packs which is the whole point of a random draw, sell packs. It's not busted if everyone has reasonable access to it, but that is my opinion and not necessarily objective fact.
But to keep it short, since this is really /tg/ talk, I've seen worse done in both games with currently tournament legal cards than you could ever do with some of the banned ones.
