>>7684326… and this is probably the best way to show how the window is built. The vertical bars are part of the wall, the „glass“ goes behind them and is held by the white box. The ridges of the dark grey pieces on the box sit flush with the wall and fill in gaps.
The horizontal bars go in front of the vertical ones and are just slotted into place. I could have used 1x6 plates to connect all three together, but I went with 1x2 tiles for style. And it still holds together really well, after everything sits in place you can just pull the bars out of the jumper plates ever so slightly, creating enough pressure to keep everything connected even when upside down.
