Remember the Mighty no 9 debacle? Backers don't get refunds because the money already spent on the game development. Same deal with hundreds of other KS that did not come into fruition.
What part of these basic concepts about Kickstarter don't you understand? After funding closes in 3 days, the 4H can just declare bankruptcy and rake in the half million dollars they get and there's nothing you can do. It is right there in Kickstarter Terms of Service.
