I'm speaking about brand new action figures aimed directly at the older consumer, which didn't exist until McFarlane started doing it. Yeah, as i pointed out earlier, there were STATUEs and MODEL KITs being aimed and sold to adults, but not the action figures that are discussed on /toy/.

Have another Japanese magazine from the 90s dedicated toward these action figures and realize how popular US toys were over there. The more you become aware of this shit, the more it makes sense on why Japanese collector companies actually started to make action figures instead of just models and statues.
