>>10229600Im on the opposite end of the spectrum. I genuinely love the cartoon for how insane and slapdash it is. There's an indescribable kinetic energy to all of its silly insanity which I eat right up. Even now I can only really compare it to shows like The Tick, but even then atleast The Tick knows its a parody. Street Sharks goes balls to the wall with every premise they tackle. If TMNT is the Schwarzenegger of anthro hero cartoons then Street Sharks is the McBain. I mentioned to a friend a while ago that the major difference between TMNT and Street Sharks is that the sharks always pull from action movie tropes where the turtles always pulled from sci fi b movie ones. That alone really sets it apart. Its almost criminal that the turtles received a Bay adaption honestly. Street Sharks was almost tailor made to be a Micheal Bay blockbuster.
