I recently discovered NewRay in an air museum gift shop. I think I own 8 of them right now. I know that they're listed as "model kits", but I think of them as toys. They slapped the "model kit" vernacular on there to save money and have me put it together. Still tho, they're horrible, and require a lot of trimming, and painting, but I like them.
Because they have working landing gear.
And that is like everything I've ever wanted. I'm wondering if there are any other lines, or model kits that also have retractable landing gear? Any era is cool, tho I do love the WWII era fighters. I understand how their engines work, I don't know shit about jets.
Hell at that same museum they had an SR-71, with one engine out for display. I understand nothing about this piece of machinery.
