Don't get me wrong, I actually like Hot Rod, but for that one scene in the movie he was indefensibly retarded, and if there is one thing that pisses me off in any form of fiction is when characters are made to be stupider than they normally are simply to move the plot along. If you're going to kill a beloved character off because of another character's fuckup, then at least have the decency to make it a plausible fuckup.
