And even up to toys like MP-20, it was all about a mix of cartoon, toy and new ideas, and that was only 3 years ago.

Earlier it was a very balanced mix, and even contained other inspirations, like MP-10 uses the toy's windshield shape and colors, a completely unique headsculpt that doesn't perfectly match he show or toy, as well as silver shin vents which were never in the show or the toy, and the gun storage being something out of the IDW comics.
