People in this hobby collect enormous amounts of cars they even don't give a shit about. They end up buying the same thing in 15 different colors. Some of them in disgusting yellow packaging "too valuable to take out". The level of cringe would be off the charts. Then she asks you what you do for fun and you explain "peg hunting" and how you dig in toy bins to find the "R A R E" worth $5.
Just buy a 1:18 model from Aliexpress or Temu, they're all made in the same Chinese factories and look nicer.
