>>11338213there is no way they would base the prospect of future sets on this slap-in-the-face price point. only a small (SMALL!) percentage of Zelda fans can afford this. keep in mind "regular" Lego sets are already overpriced, people would pause at an $80 set. this $300+ tree is ridiculous.
they either have plans to make more Zelda sets or not. did they make all those hair/hat molds for just one set? Master Sword? Shield? maybe. or maybe they'll re-use them later.
D&D was already designed as an anniversary tie-in, they "tricked us" into buying CMF sets to get all the figures that SHOULD HAVE been included in the big set, at $5 a piece extra. (since it was such a "huge success" for them, expect them to do that again for something else. maybe even Zelda next year lmao)
