Has anyone ever replaced the baseplates on their modular buildings with regular plates? Or any other large build that uses baseplates for that matter? I want to layout some buildings next to the old kino road plates but I don't have a lot of space so I want to put the modulars on top of the 8 or 9 studs on the side of the road plate. So I need to take the modular off the existing baseplate and then put it all down on four 16x16 plates. Then it can sit on top of the road plate and whatever other baseplate I want under it and extending behind it. This seems like a lot of work though. (I don't want to just put the road plate against the modular plate because my city doesn't need huge sidewalks and I want to save space.)
