>>9408746Toy factories use a paint that's toxic while still in liquid form so it's illegal to use in the US or something like that. That paint is hella durable so it doesn't require top coats like model paints. If you have the Charizard figure in hand, the lighter colored joints (acetal) have so little clearance against the pvc body parts that any paint you apply will be scraped off when you move those joints. Neck joints, shoulders, all the joints in the tail will have that problem. Hardcore customizers completely disassemble a figure and sand down these joints to eliminate the clearance/paint rub issue but that an insane amount of work and the way this Charizard is assembled will make that very difficult to do cleanly.
