>>9606508Most of the things I have issues with here are the traditionally cats resin parts (the light cream coloured bits) but yes, the potential drawbacks of 3D printed parts have certainly made themselves known as well. Brittle as hell (which is "nice" given that the point of it is often to create very thin and complex things), the layered texture, a bazillion supports to deal with and at times with one surface that printed with far less precision than the rest (often the underside to hide it, but that's usually the bit that needs to fit...)
Maybe not any worse than a lot of resin kits around, but I'll certainly keep preferring injection moulded styrene when that's an option.
