I bought a cheap Leopard 2A5 KWS 1:72 as my first tonk, and so far, it's been alright. I turned it into a 2A4 because the Revell kit comes with the turret and barrel.
A ton of things have been done to it:
>removal of hull front vent since the 2A4 version doesn't have it
>addition of towhooks on the turret since they're not there
>thinned fenders to cut them, so it looks less clean
>rear fender off, upside down to simulate the photos of Leopard 2A4s with the rear fenders off
>scratched, cut the tires to make them look as if they've wore off
>drilled the tiny barrel tip
>removal of rear mudflaps since some Leopard 2A4s don't have it
>first time-sculpted shitty stowage
>handlebars(?) on the turret because the revell ones are pretty bad
