I live in the Northeast where it's pretty humid all the time, and even the tires on my MP-01 are still intact, meanwhile there are collectors elsewhere that already have MP-10s with destroyed tires. There's actually a chemical in it that causes plastic and rubber to look moist and shiny for a while, but as it dries out, it actually causes faster damage to the material. If you look it up, a lot of armor-all products are actually solvent-based, which is retarded.
I use Aerospace 303 on my car's dashboard and vinyl. It's probably one of the best products I've found. I think Wal-Mart carries it, maybe? If not, you can order it online.
