>>8185246This looks like a bangin toy, really well made and fun looking, but it's succeeding in spite of the design, not because of it. All Banes after the original have sucked. I long for the purity of a moderately muscular guy in a luchador mask, singlet, fingerless gloves, and bloused pants tucked into combat boots. That's all I need. Even the Venom tube and control panel were real lowkey on the original, hell, they're not even visible in a lot of panels.
I just can't connect to a lot of the more monstrous Banes, they're too cartoonishly roidy and feel overdesigned. Bane was scary because he felt so FEASIBLE. Even with the Venom, most of the time during Knightfall he just seemed like a buff-ass dude beating the shit out of Bruce.
