>>7197332Looks real good, anon! I do, however, prefer how immediately recognizable the silhouettes are on the current image, even when scrolling through the catalog thumbnails.
Your image looks seriously fantastic full-size (and I really like the changes to the guide), but in the thumbnail all the silhouettes end up blending together.
>>7197455Haha, I wrote the original quick guide (still have the txt file from late 2012)!
At the time, every thread seemed to have 20 or so posts of people asking how to use the BST, how to send money, how did Paypal work etc., so I thought a little guide would help reduce those inquiries. I actually never intended for it to be part of the main BST image because I liked how recognizable the green image was too. Instead, I imagined the OP would reference the guide and then the guide would be posted as the first reply to the OP (I also never really intended the guidelines to become rules; I purposely called it a guide because I didn't want folks restricted to one particular way of posting, but whatever, uniformity does make the BST easier to browse, haha).
Through the collaborative process, however, the BST image has become what it is today. Never imagined that the Quick Guide would still be around almost six years later, and much credit to the people who have edited the guide in that time to make it more concise (though I miss the Goofus/Gallant examples, haha, at least the line on common sense has survived unscathed!). Seems to have served its purpose as we don't really see those "how do I BST?" posts anymore, though it helps that Paypal is way more ubiquitous now too.
Anyways, sorry for rambling, got nostalgic, haha.
