Going to a typical TRU there is pretty much like seeing all the same shit they sell here, but with a lot more cheapo role playing toys and baby teething toys with 3 whole PoA.
Oh, and model kits.
So it's basically like going back to 1988 - 1993, with barely articulated toys and when model kits were still easy to find.
The stuff that /toy/ likes and talks about is like 5% of their toy industry.
And the majority of toys are likely their candy toys and gashapon that are mostly figurines and other mcdonalds quality junk. The rare GOOD candy toys are as rare as rare should be.
