The reason behind that is that I can just imagine the TTV crew being circlejerked tenfold and heralded as the saviors of the fandoms' spirit because of this. Like, it's nothing special. Frankly, anyone who was autisically invested enough could make a G3 concept with art and a story to go with it. But because "muh e-celebs" their fans will lap this shit up and this will be it's own little subfandom thing.
I mean, just watch them get someone to make models of their masks on shapeways and get custom prints on minifigs and then we'll see dozens of people buying this crap and in turn, sucking their dick some more. Like, I wish we could all just enjoy Bionicle in solidarity without needing someone to thank for keeping us interested. I hate it.
