>>9168600so first off you wanna be using a flat brush, I actually use the ones that are at a angle, i use a 1/4, so pretty small.I always prime when I paint because acrylic dont stick for shit unless primed, even then it comes off super easy untill topcoated. Like the meme goes, thin your paint, you more or less want a milky consistency, I use plain ol water. A big tip I would suggest is having a napkin or papertowel nearby, I usually dab off a good amount of the paint onto the napkin first before I put it on. You are gonna want to do about 3 layers, the first one will look like shit and splotchy but dont worry. let each coat dry for about 20-30 mins before the next. I try to avoid streaking by basically very lightly applying pressure to the brush, allmost just let it glide over the part.. so biggest tips- thin your paints, use a flat brush and use very light brush strokes, and always do it in layers allowing each to properly dry. heres another hand painted kit, Vallejo dark blue,Gold and basic black.
