I have no idea really how to do signal flags but I spelled "Texas" on one side and "BB35" on the other with an old decal set I had from years ago.
I make the flags by painting a sheet of aluminum foil, and then gloss coating it and putting the decals on that then cutting them out so they're nice and rigid, allows me to sort of bend them into shape. I wonder if there's a better way to do this though, like some kind of foil that's mode bendable but I don't know what else I could use.
