There is 1 major issue that has USPS absolutley hemorrhaging money, the likes of which you can't begin to comprehend

Have you ever wondered how Chinese vendors can ship their items so incredibly cheap to the US, but should you need to ship to China, what costs them $4 to ship to ship to you, will cost you $40 to ship back to China?
The U.S. government and China have an agreement that USPS will subsidize nearly the entirety of all shipping costs from China to the US... but the cost to ship from the U.S. into China is to be footed entirely by the U.S. sender.
It's literal insanity... think about all those WISH orders with $1 or Free shipping... think about the fucking billions upon billions spent annually that we're paying to import Chinese shit to nearky every household in the US on a daily basis.
US sellers can't compete...It's a fucking suicidal pact and most people have no idea about it.
There's also an issue with their absurd pension plan, but that's another story and a bit more of a grey area.
