>>10071445I agree with pretty much everything you said.
>unneeded tiny accessories that young kids are sure to lose quicklyMiniatures are awesome, the issue is instead of giving them make up or some other nice accessories it's mostly shitty monster pun snacks. Though I will give you that Mattel tries hard to pander to toddlers.
>>10071462>the people who will never be happy will complain about a printless skirtWhy are you making up dumb strawmen? Robecca Steam had not print on her "skirt" (her signature outfit is actually one piece) but no one complains because the overdesign is great and well executed.
>G1 had glue seepage Those weren't out of the box issues like with G3.
>Glue seepage is a pretty big QC fuck upyes no deny it's crap.
>some wonky facesCurrent Mattel dolls in a nutshell.
Still less QC and design issues than G3, take for example the terrible color gradient used for Lagoona Pink compare to G1 Spectra.
>aesthetically G1 is betterThat's an objective fact. G3 is too cutesy and generic, not to mention some barely resembles the monsters they're supposed to be (Clawdeen and Frankie).
