I’m mix of Core Millenial and Late Millenial, but primarily Late era since I remember it entirely (plus Core stuff carried over into the early 2000s).
>>8167140I know what you mean about being old enough to remember stuff, but not being old enough to experience it fully. It would have been cool to be older than a toddler when Sailor Moon first got to the US, instead of just getting the last flickering days of its Toonami run, Blockbuster rentals, and a picked through KB toys shelf.
>Really wanna go back. I need to grow up.You don’t need to grow up. We’d all go back if we could.
>>8164445I’m American and remember 9/11 vividly. It was a shock when it first happened, but it didn’t change day to day life. For me it was also just evening news highlights, and family bitching about Dubyah at dinner, but that’s it. Tbh the early 2000s/first Bush admin was the most cheerful and stable time in my life... but then again I’m probably just seeing it through rose tinted glasses, since it was my childhood.
