The era of Figueroa and other comic artists designing TFs led to some of the best shit we ever got, and I'd love to see other ones try their hand. I still pray that someday we get a line that includes Roche designs beyond the vague inspiration that led to T30 Springer.

If these rumors of Straxus having his IDW design are true, Tarantulas might end up with his IDW design.
Not a bad thing mind you, just means he'll look like TM Tarantulas in robot mode but have a normal spider mode.

Every beastformer in Sins was basically just a robot with hunks of sinew and meat that tore open to reveal a robot and Tarantulas was the same. Just that Roche took the best design and slapped organic hunks on to where the beast mode kibble would be since TM Tarantulas looks 10x better than the original.

I love robotic ones that basically just transforming zoids, but I would also kill to get some SotW style beastformers. Especially Polarclaw.
