>>8088075I think they got full of themselves somewhere around after the Lego Movie came out and normies flocked to the brand. We've gotten some awesome sets since then, but there's a lot of "pleasing the imagined broader general audience" going on now. That, and the "good enough" standards for quality for the bricks themselves after seeking out the Chinese market.
