I took a stab at drawing the two unmade sports robos. I might draw some more later on. These two were great fun to draw. I like to think a localization featuring these two would see them as rivals. Boxer-Robo (under some catchier American title) would be a sure of himself egotistical, vain, and pompous jerk and thus the Megatron or Cy-Kill stand in. Sumo Robo (also under some new American moniker) would be an Orion Pax esc gentle giant, humble and honorable to a fault. His peaceful until provoked nature going onto gain him the hearts of millions.
Going off the other sports robos my idea for a wider premise wouldnt see these guys as alien robots from another world but something along the lines of "Street Fighter with sentient robots" if that makes any sense. Sophisticated robots with true personalities which have gone onto gain celebrity status.
