I guess it could be considered an improvement that they got a gear function reduced down to just a knob on the butt, but it makes the body feel unsubstantial when compared to the previous 2015 wave.
I found all ccbs basically the same until the later star wars waves and 2015 bionicle where they started integrating bulky gear mechanisms into the chest. The waist swivel feels hero factory tier. Like it's asking you to buy a Elemental Creature Uniter to clip onto it's back just for that missing bulk and features.
I have so many G2 scraps but only a few of the swivel torso that is making me consider just using a different body type since the limbs are all the same anyway. Looking at my options, I have the parts to build any CCBS body type up until the swivel waist was introduced. What would anon say is the best body type?
