It's not the toy company, it's the license itself. Even Jakks had distribution problems back then. Tomy USA found a way with an annual catalog, but pretty much less items to sell. WCT/Jazwares is practically like Jakks again but a lot more international/regionally-focused.

This is all to avoid spoilers which Halo and Fortnite don't even worry about. Remember, guy who uploaded the entire SwSh strategy guide on /vp/ got sued.
