Remember how they really wanted to have the Matrix in animated, but the movie had the Allspark? All they did was give the Allspark some handles and a case and it was basically the Matrix. Later, it even got reworked into the Matrix. Just give Bee movie Optimus one, call it the "creation Matrix", say it was modeled after the lost original one and it functions as a key to knowledge or whatever.
Same with Megatron; you want a G1 Megatron but don't want to step on the Bay movie toes, just say Megatron got a clone(call him Megaplex, even), because Megatron got cloned in the G1 comics, anyway so it has precedence.
Really, the bay movies retroactively fucked so much continuity within themselves I have no idea why everyone's making a big deal about the Bee movie now.
