>>11013928Oh no, you had the same problem I did.
I contacted AmiAmi for a replacement, which is on its way, but I don't think it'll fix things. Before long, the joint will also probably just pop apart.
So yes, I have the same problem, and no, I don't think there's much you can do about it. There was someone who linked some sort of material to increase friction, but like you, I don't necessarily believe it'll fix this issue. Maybe it will, but the joint itself just isn't well designed. I mean, yeah, I have a replacement on the way and all, but I think it won't change anything. I think the joint will always crumble, and how fast that happens just depends on how much you actually pose the figure. A matter of when, not if.
>>11013972I mentioned it before in the SHF thread. It fell apart on me moments after I started gushing about its range. And nah, I don't think you're a troll for complaining about the way they designed this joint. More so the whole "bandai slop conzoomer reddit" shit. This is genuinely a good reason to complain. Even more so because I think it could be an amazing figure, but the arms just basically being designed to fall apart for everyone lets it way down. I don't get why they didn't just use a bigger, sturdier joint than this failed pseudo-revoltech stuff.
It really, really vexes me, because I think like this figure is 90% great. I love the sculpt, I love the range (see picrel), and think it could've been a homerun of a figure with ease. The paint job may be hit or miss, but any imperfections in it aren't enough to break the figure for me. But those arms. Those fucking arms, they counter everything it does well. After all, a figure can be top-tier and have the best articulation and sculpt ever, but if one part of it, especially something so vital as the arms, doesn't stay together, the entire figure just bombs.
